I love it especially in business whenever the latest trend comes around and then everyone recommends it and tries to make it work for themselves... just for it to turn out it never worked in the first place

Stunning, as always.

Long time follow of Cole! I always try to look for inspiration in different places and shy away from trends. I like to be different and think different. Now I work for a commercial waste hauling company. Where should I look for inspiration while I'm working on updating our brand and marketing?? Note: I came from commercial interiors background for the most part.

Always good to get a shot of Schafer in the mind, to remind us what good, clear thinking looks like

Cole, this article was absolutely needed and a delightful read. I’ve always been trend averse. Yet I find myself following a few either out of ignorance or fear of rejection. It’s a difficult duality to navigate when the need for variety leads to a desire for uniqueness. I’ll be thinking about this article for a few days, I am sure of it.

Yes yes yes. The sameness is sooo boring. I’m so tired of the same decor, same architecture, and so on….Thank you for standing for originality, creativity and purpose. Viva La difference
